The E-commerce company has played an important role in fuelling warehousing demand in Gurgaon, the fulfillment centers as the objective is to satisfy instant demand. In India, e-commerce is poised to grow as currently 4% retail is online whereas in the major countries almost 30% of total retail is digital.
As per e-commerce industry estimates, India could witness 12% to 14% retail trade going online with electronics goods, fashion apparel and readymade garments becoming top sellers by 2022-2023. In Gurgaon that Amazon has launched its biggest fulfillment centre in Pachgaon, Manesar, in the first week of August. it had launched a 2.5 lakh sq ft, state of the art fulfillment centre in Jamalpur, Pataudi a micro-warehousing hub in Gurgaon
